Vodafone is the latest company to withdraw from Facebook’s digital currency project, Libra. The Libra Association has seen a mass departure of financiers including MasterCard and PayPal amidst supervisory inspection.

Payment giants MasterCard and Visa dragged out of the Libra project in October, quoting regulatory ambiguity. Facebook announced in June last year that it might launch the digital currency in partnership with other members of the association.
