Twitter to test ‘block all replies’ function

Twitter has announced that it would be testing new features like ‘block all replies’ which will allow the users to control who can reply to their post  and also can block all the incoming replies. This is a step taken towards controlling cyber bullying. There are many people who unnecessarily comment on each post whatsoever.

These cyber bullies even don’t care who the personality is that has written the blog and sometimes they don’t even know the whole story of the blog but still keep posting their unwanted comments that may offend the society.. The company stated that they wanted to help people feel safe participating in the conversation on Twitter.

By this step taken by the firm, at least more users can feel free to post their thoughts out. The new features would allow the users to select four different settings for replies which are- Global, that will allow anyone to respond; Group- that allows replies coming from the people the user follows; Panel will allow replies from the people mentioned and last one is the Statement by which they can block all the replies.

This is indeed a befitting reply to the trollers all around the globe whose main motive on Twitter is keep tweeting trolls regardless of any information.
