SpaceX sends 60 more Starlink satellites into orbit


SpaceX kicked off 2020 with the record-breaking launch of its third batch of 60 Starlink satellites which were launched from the NASA’s Launchpad Cape Canaveral.

Sixty of the internet-beaming satellites launched atop used Falcon 9 booster on Monday, January 6. Once again it proved its technological strength and left the whole world amazed.

These satellites are for the internet services. With this, NASA has in total released 182 satellites that would be sufficing the needs of internet services. These latest platforms were launched using a Falcon-9 rocket, which left from Cape Canaveral in Florida.

With the launching of these many satellites into the space, SpaceX becomes the first to have the highest number of commercial satellites than any other company followed by Planet Lab which is also based in California.

SpaceX has permission from regulators to launch up to twelve thousand platforms, it has however has talked of an eventual forty thousand reckoning on how the project develops. Undoubtedly, SpaceX has again nailed rocket landing in a record breaking flight. They are also planning to launch two more batches of 60 satellites by the end of this month.
