FTSE chief executive ‘earn average salary within three days’
Top Management of British leading companies will be paid more within three working days of 2020 than the average employees’ annual wage. 100 FTSE Chief Executives who have started work from the 2 January 2020 will by Monday at 17.00 GMT would have earned above the average salary of £29,559.
This entire data was compiled by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the High Pay Centre.
The figures based on the latest available data has said the average FTSE 100 chief was paid £3.46 Million in 2018, that works out to £901.30 an hour. The average fulltime annual salary of £29,559 works out as £14.37 an hour.
The report also said that high remuneration will be a key issue in 2020, as this is the year where public listed firms with more than 250 employees must disclose the ratio of chief executive pay and the average workers.
