The Hong Kong based sportswear brand Xtep announced on Thursday that it is drawing plans to expand its venture into five more cities in the country by the end of 2020.
The company already has its reach in 20 countries. Previously last year, it entered the Indian market and opened its first store in Bengaluru, and eventually made its way into markets in Gurugram, Thrissur and Chennai.
The brand sources have alleged that it intends to expand in Goa, Pune, Kochi, Hyderabad and Mysuru next year. The brand will further introduce a mix of multi-brand and exclusive outlets, as was alleged by Xtep India director, Vijay Chowdhary.
Furthermore, the company also announced that it will introduce high-tech consumer sports technology in the second phase and will further also invest in sports infrastructure after evaluating the market demand.
