Potter fans are in for a treat as JK Rowling has announced the release of four new Harry Potter ebooks. The books are set to release next month and will give deeper insights into the “wizarding world”. Rowling’s Pottermore series will give Potter enthusiasts the chance to “delve deeper into the rich history of magic”.
The series will have lessons which are part of the imagined curriculum of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The book series is inspired by a British Library exhibition based on Harry Potter. The books will be published under the name ‘Harry Potter: A Journey Through…’, the title is allegedly adapted from the audiobook series of Harry Potter: A History of Magic.
In an announcement about the latest ebook series a spokesperson from the Pottermore website said, “Prepare to delve deeper into the rich history of magic (be it our own Muggle history, or the magical world created by JK Rowling) with this new series of eBook shorts.”
According to reports the first two book will be released on June 27 and will provide insights into the Defence Against the Dark Arts, Potions and Herbology. Fans are going to cleberate as the third and fourth book will be based on Divination and Astronomy as well as Care of Magical Creatures.
“In addition to exploring the origins of magic through history and folklore, the eBook shorts will also feature notes, manuscript pages and charming sketches as previously seen in Harry Potter: A History of Magic,” added the spokesperson from the website.
Allegedly, the illustrations from all four-book series will be created by Rohan Daniel Eason, a London based Illustrators. Moreover, the series will be initially available in English, French, German and Italian.
The series is definitely going to bring Potter fans a step closer to a learning experience at Hogwarts!
