Food packaging and processing industries, Tetra Pak and ABB have blueprinted an energy assessment program. The collaborative efforts of ABB’s analytical solutions and Tetra Pak’s top notch food manufacturing techniques will share insights into progressive energy consumption techniques for food producers.
Seeds of the project were sown in the Swedish Pavilion at Hannover Messe earlier this month. The energy plant has been designed to adapt food and beverage producers to more environmental friendly and financially affordable technologies. Such projects aim towards helping manufacturers minimize their environmental impact and maximize profitability. Pilot projects of the energy assessment in USA have shown reduction in carbon emissions from food and beverage manufacturing and it also cut energy cost by around 15% to 25%.
