PagerDuty(an international frontrunner in digital operations management)publicized that Rathi Murthy, who is the SVP and Chief Technology Officer at Gap Inc., has entered its board of directors. Having greater than 20-years experience in the field of technology leadership positions at several of the world’s best renowned, groundbreaking businesses, Murthy promises to bring with her the opinion of the clients, expertise in digital transformation and extensive cybersecurity experience to the board of PagerDuty.
2016 was the year that Murthy joined Gap Inc., where she was appointed the leader of the engineering association who is responsible for the construction of technology solutions and infrastructure that influence the company’s notorious brands, including Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, Athleta, Hill City, etc. She pushes the digital transformation through the establishment’s technology backbone, from client-facing application progress to cloud networks, data integration, machine learning, analytics and many more.

Prior to becoming a part of Gap Inc., Murthy served as the SVP and Chief Interactive Officer of ‘Enterprise Growth for American Express’. There she was the supervisor of end-to-end platform technology, structure, and procedures, together with delivery and execution of products and trade distribution partnerships. She has also held numerous management jobs at companies such as eBay, Yahoo, Sun Microsystems, etc.
